England defeated Norway 2-1 after extra time in one of the most captivating matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, booking its place in the semifinals after another dramatic night in Miami.

The occasion attracted stars both on and off the pitch. While Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane, Erling Haaland and Martin Ødegaard led the action, football royalty—including Ronaldo Nazário and Cafu—watched from the stands as the quarterfinal lived up to its billing. Bellingham ultimately delivered the decisive extra-time winner to send the Three Lions through.
